Hey, you're actually reading the privacy policy!  I think that's awesome - let me tell you why.  So much of what goes on in Jeff City and around the country is like this privacy policy.  Everyone is supposed to be paying attention - but so many really aren't.  Everyone needs SOMEONE to read it and blow the whistle when something's out of line.  I want to be that person for you in Jeff City.  I read the 'fine print', and it seems you do too.  Looks like we have that in common!

We believe in privacy at claireformissouri.com.  We aren't tracking individual people here.  Look, laugh, point, smile -all are welcome.  You will notice there was no tracking 'cookie' notice when you arrived - because we don't use them.  We don't sell your data - there are enough people doing that already.  If you are reading this out loud in front of an Alexa, you might get an offer for a claireformissouri.com shirt on your Facebook page, but that wasn't us doing it.  

Our web server tracks the IP addresses of the individual visitors to the site - all web servers do.  We also use Google Analytics to produce reports on web traffic.  Despite what you see on TV, we can't really tell who you are by your IP address.  Your ISP can, but we cannot.  The web server tracking is to help the server run faster and track anyone who launches an attack against the site.  Google Analytics produces reports to tell us things like how many unique visitors we had to the site and how many repeat visitors we saw (mostly this is my step-dad).  Otherwise, we don't really even look at the logs other than to see how many different people stopped by to say hello.

Obviously, if you fill out our contact form, we are keeping that info.  If you want us to reach out, we will.  If you just want to send a comment - you can do that too.  Just let us know there is no reason to follow-up.
